Common People Yoga is a yoga studio offering a variety of yoga class styles and options. Our teachers represent over 75 years of collective experience. We also have a diverse team of teachers who in addition to teaching yoga are in many other roles in our community. Everyone who teaches here is doing so because they are passionate about it. You can feel that passion in every class.
We also try to offer classes that fit into your lifestyle. We offer in-studio classes 7 days a week, with many time options to choose from including early morning, mid-day, and evening classes. Many of our classes are also offered as a Livestream option via Zoom.

We are always looking for feedback on what would make it easy for you to get to class, so please reach out if you have any suggestions!

Meet lorissa
Hi. I am Lorissa, the face behind CPY. When I found yoga, I realized that it was the missing piece I needed to complete my life. The connection to mind, body, and soul continues to amaze me in every single class. I have spent my career in healthcare management but decided to take the leap into a small business. My vision for Common People Yoga is that we offer a place that feels welcoming to everyone.
When not at the studio, I enjoy exploring this beautiful state we call home and adventuring through travel. I love anything that gets me closer to nature, especially hiking, paddle boarding, running, and camping. My family includes my husband, son, daughter, two dogs, and a cat who runs our household.
My favorite part about CPY is the ability to be a space for people to connect. Connect with themselves, connect with our collective community, and disconnect from the outside world.
