December is here with chilly weather and holiday excitement. All of the lights in downtown Salem are beautiful, and the parade's return was a fun way to kick off the season. These last weeks of the year are always busy and go by quickly. We curated the schedule this month to offer different ways to step away from the rush and reconnect with your inner calm
As the end of the year nears, I want to say a huge thank you to our talented team of yoga teachers. It is so special to watch the growth of classes, the relationships built, and the connection to community that each and every person who enters CPY brings. And a great big thank you to our amazing yoga community. I have been so humbled by your kindness, support of our team, the ways you help make us better, and the dedication of coming to class. I look forward to seeing you this month and wish you all the best for the holidays and a safe and healthy 2023. In Gratitude, Lorissa
'TIS THE SEASON
Harvest Moon Ritual Friday, December 9 | 7 - 9:00 pm "This full moon women’s temple circle includes floral foot baths and beautiful ceremonial affirmations with an inner active Sistar support ritual. I take great care to create a space where everyone feels welcome, witnessed, and held just as they are. These rituals help to anchor in the medicine of the particular moon phase that we are currently cycling within, and I base each circle according to the vibration and the visions that come to me through mediation and prayer. Can’t wait to hear whose heart this sacred circle will call to. In gratitude and service, Joyelle" Sign Up

DECEMBER SCHEDULE
TEACHER SPOTLIGHT
Sarah Hillman
I"I discovered Pilates while my mother was taking lessons as a part of her physical therapy program. I was so amazed at how this one movement system was not only rehabbing my mom's body but her overall mind/body connection. I loved that it was accessible to all body types and fitness levels.
I am a professional photographer and have taught at George Fox University. As a teacher, I am still a constant student. I am constantly trying to learn and grow myself as a better teacher to better my student's experience in class. I am passionate about teaching the classical Pilates method and teaching my students to feel it in their own bodies and use it not just in mat class but take those Pilates principles into their everyday lives for better ease of movement. I am comprehensively trained in the classical style of Pilates at all levels on all the equipment through master instructor Dorothee Vandewalle.
I am also certified through Peak Pilates and am a level three Fascial Stretch Therapist."
