October News

October is here and the trees are starting to let go of their leaves. In honor of this season of letting go, CPY is all about the trees. We're donating all month to ONETREEPLANTED. You can read more about their reforestation of native trees in Oregon here. Donate directly to our CPY team page here. $1 equals 1 tree planted.

One of the most iconic yoga poses is "Tree Pose," so we'll focus on this pose all October. Vrksasana (Tree Pose) is a beautiful balance of being rooted as you reach tall like a tree's branches and stay grounded through the strength of your leg that is connected to the ground (either standing or seated).

Every tree looks different, and every tree is beautiful. We'd love to see you in your favorite version of this pose (safely!). Snap a pic of your favorite tree or your favorite tree pose and post it to social media with the hashtag #cpytrees…and tag us on Facebook or Instagram! For every photo, we'll donate another dollar to our ONETREEPLANTED fundraiser. If you don't use social media, email us your pics!

We look forward to spending this season of renewal with you. Thank you for your support of the studio, your kindness, and for sharing your light with us.
