Restore & Rejuvenate

Updated: May 2, 2022

As we welcome March, it is already feeling like Spring! Flowers are sprouting, days are getting longer, and the hopeful sounds of birds chirping bring that familiar feeling of warmth returning. We have a lot happening this month. This week we welcome the Yoga Teacher Training students as they begin their first week of learning. We also added some continuing education opportunities for current yoga teachers on some exciting topics.

Noel is starting a new early morning class this week. Set your alarm to join her for Early Morning Flow, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 6-7 am.

With all that is happening in the world right now, we are pleased to offer two restorative healing events this month. March 12th, join Michael for a Sound Bath Submersion from 7-8:30 pm. On March 19th, join Cassandra for Spring Equinox Restorative Yoga from 6:30-8:30 pm accompanied by the musical talents of local harpist Asia Kindred Moore and complemented by a tea service from Michael. Both sessions are a perfect opportunity to set some intentional time to rest and restore your body and mind.

We are optimistic about the continued decline of Covid in the community. As the mask mandate is lifted on the 12th, we will return to a mask-optional policy. We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in class. Please continue to show kindness and patience as we all adjust to another change that feels different to everyone. Thank you for your continued support of the studio, for sharing your practice with us, and for being a part of this exceptional community. If there is anything we can do better, please let us know as we are always open to your feedback. We want to be a welcoming place for all. In gratitude, Lorissa

NEW CLASSES

RESTORE WITH CHAIR YOGA Fridays | 10:30-11:30 am Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a slow and stretchy practice. Using a chair is great for anyone who could use extra assistance with balance or needs to keep weight off of their feet and legs.
