Spring Happenings

Updated: May 2, 2022

Spring is here, and we are excited. We are taking the next few weeks to do some Spring Cleaning. We will be refining our class schedule, simplifying the class names to make it easy to choose the right class for you, and adding a few new options as well. As we continue to build this studio, we are learning what works best…and what doesn’t. Thank you for your feedback, kindness, and laughing with us when things don’t go quite as planned. You help make us better. We have some fun events coming up this summer that we’ll share over the next few weeks as we finalize the details. One that I am incredibly excited about is our weekend Yoga Retreat at the Independence Hotel on September 9th to 11th. We are thrilled to be able to offer this curated weekend right in our own backyard! Registration is now open for this special weekend, and space is limited.

This week kicks off our Walking Wednesdays! Join us at CPY Wednesdays at 5 pm for some community movement. No registration is needed, and strollers, dogs, and roller blades are welcomed. We will be going rain or shine. On April 9th, join personal trainer Hannah Clothier for Strength Training for Beginners. She will guide you through a 60-minute resistance training session while demonstrating every movement, educating you on how and why we perform them and encouraging you the whole way through. This will be a full-body workout with no weights other than your body weight. Sunday, April 24th, is the next Vinyl + Coffee + Yoga class. This is always a fun start to Sunday morning and a great way to introduce your friends to yoga in a relaxed class. If you have a favorite record, bring it to class! On May 22nd, Kate Saunders will be offering a Foot Reflexology Basics class. And on June 18th, Rachel from Cloverfall Designs will be here teaching a special acrylic Group Painting Class. In gratitude, Lorissa

APRIL SCHEDULE

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT

Victoria Latham "I specialize in teaching/assisting others how to become more internally aligned with themselves over time with the power of meditation and restorative yoga. When I discovered the incredible power of my very own breath, my world changed, and since, I have become eager to share the tools that have helped me to become more internally aligned myself by understanding how to connect with one's self and remain judgment free while exploring thoughts and emotions. It has changed my life completely, and would only be selfish of me to not share these tools with my community/the world that I know could greatly benefit from these not-so-common practices." Join Victoria at... • Guided Meditation - Radical Rest & Self Love | Mondays at 6:45 pm Sign Up
